Dr. Andi-Jean Miro is a cosmetic dentist at Apa Aesthetic, where she has practiced since 2015, first in New York and now in Beverly Hills and New York. She is the only female cosmetic dentist at Apa Aesthetic.
She trained at the NYU College of Dentistry, with an advanced clinical concentration in Aesthetic Dentistry, and completed her residency at NYU Lutheran in Brooklyn. In 2020 she founded Stribe, where she has taught more than 1,000 dentists.

How much tooth is removed for veneers?
It is different for every tooth. Some teeth need no reduction at all because material is added instead; others need a precise adjustment to bring them into the line of the smile. Read more
Do veneers ruin your teeth?
No — not when they’re done conservatively. A modern veneer prep removes about 0.3 to 0.5mm of enamel, and the porcelain is biocompatible. Damage comes from aggressive over-preparation, not from veneers themselves. Read more
How long do porcelain veneers last?
Porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 15 years with proper care, and many last 20 years or more. Long-term clinical studies show survival rates of roughly 95% at 10 years and above 90% at 20 years. Read more
What is the difference between veneers and bonding?
Veneers are thin shells of hand-crafted porcelain bonded to the tooth after conservative preparation. Bonding is composite resin sculpted directly onto the tooth. Read more
